Although I've never saw the show, I know it was a good one. 1976-1981 was it? I heard it was a 5-year run starting in 1976.

I wish it was still on.

It really bums me hearing people saying that just because it has the same characters as Sesame Street, it's a kids show. They have to actually watch the show to see its a big and universal production.

Actually, the Muppet Show was created to entertain both adults and children, as Henson didn't like people thinking that all he did was just for kids.
